DTS is privately owned Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Electrical Services Company that provides commercial and industrial services for a wide variety of clients around Queensland.

Established in 2003 by Evan and Hellen Dawson, DTS has grown to become a respected supplier of quality services including and continues to be engaged by leading commercial building and construction companies, major defence industry companies and a number of Commonwealth Government Departments.

Dawson’s Technical Services has at its core objective to be the Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Electrical Contracting Company of First Choice:

Recognised by Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts as leading provider of training at the 2008 Regional Training Awards, Dawson’sTechnical Services continues to invest in training for its entire staff. 

DTS believes that quality service can not be delivered without formal continuous on and off the job training.

 

Chief concern among the training regime is safety.  DTS continues to invest in safety:

• Formal off the job training with two full days specialist safety training each year.
• Regular safety tool box meetings.
• Prestart meetings each morning to assess the day ahead and review work methods to be adopted each day.
• Hazard identification and risk assessments are conducted by each and every technician on every job before the toolbox is open – only when a complete safe method of work is identified can work commence.
• Comprehensive personal protective equipment is carried by every individual technician to every work site, every day and deployed as required and identified in the work method statements.
• Comprehensive test equipment, tested, calibrated and tagged is carried by all technicians to ensure safe and reliable testing, installation, repair and servicing of all electrical and mechanical services.
